About Dr. Sadio
Dr. Sonita Sadio has been a practicing surgeon for more than 15 years. After completing her surgical training at Harvard University and the Mayo Clinic, she was one of only 2 surgeons selected for a prestigious fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery at the New York & Ear Infirmary. As a young trainee she apprenticed under some of Manhattan’s plastic surgery luminaries.
She is an honors society graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine, earning their award for Leadership and Compassion. She earned her undergraduate degree in literature at Yale College. Dr. Sadio believes in results. She was one of the first plastic surgeons in the country to operate a successful membership based concierge practice. Her unique patient-oriented philosophy has been featured in the NY Observer, Fox 5 News, DuJour, Allure, NYMag, Cosmopolitan, People, Art Bodega, and the Jamaica Daily Gleaner.
As a thought-leader in the industry she was interviewed by the multi-national advertising agency McCann-Erickson for their series, The Truth About Aging.
Dr. Sadio appreciates the aesthetic life in all its forms. She believes body contouring is a true art and finds the work uniquely satisfying. She has performed more than 1000 surgical procedures (at last count) and still looks forward to bringing her best to patients each day.
She is an avid sailor and owns a 1958 classic sailboat. She has raced in regattas in the Northeast United States and internationally, most recently in Bermuda.
